Once he got here, he had the opportunity to record with French Cool Jazz band leader Dave 'Gérard' Pochonet.
Both styles actually did match very well.
The French team is composed of both Martial Solal and Henri Renaud at the piano, Alto and Baritone Sax Michel de Villers and Guitarist Jean Pierre Sasson.
