What Django and Crolla had in common -and shared equitably- was a gift that enabled their fingers to engender a multitude of obvious, unquestionable melodies; they were popular in the best sense of the word, and politely hid their complexities so that they aimed only at the heart. As a result, there exists a kind of underground fraternity among Crolla's fan; tirelessly seeking his albums in order to prolong such moments of grace as the first notes os 'After you've gone', distilled like pearls on the guitar of Crolla. It was a grace that made you fall in love with the guitar, immediately and irremediably.
