Four years after the last album recorded under his name, Romane s surrounded by a quartet of emergency to explore new musical territories legacy of Django Reinhardt by combining the roots of the gypsy swing of American jazz groove. This disc, Romane wanted the record in risk-taking and creative urgency of pounds with the assurance of sound quality of the legendary Studio Davout, installed at Sunset by Artstudio, under the direction of Olivier Kowalksi. On the impeccable rhythmic Mathieu Chatelain and Christophe Lagane, Romane dialogue with strong musical personalities of a bubbling Christophe Cravero - the organ (and the violin!) - and a surprising Henri Dorina electric bass, which allow to focus on his swing groovy rhythmic foundations. For his first production with Frémeaux & Associates (which will also reappear her 15 previous albums), Romane once again demonstrates his extreme attention to enroll in a live music, made of original compositions and artistic meetings, open to the future.
