The opening piece has somber, dreamy vibe with sexy spoken word vocals in French and spacy guitar. Satie's 'Je Te Veux' is a quaint, lovely song with tasty whistling solo and sublime female vocals. Maki has an elegant tone on her alto sax which works superbly with Yann's exquisite, laid back guitar playing. I dig the way Maki's voice(s) floats on echoes with delicate guitar swirling around on 'Petit Enfant'. This entire disc has a certain enticing charm that seems perfect for a quiet, overcast day such as this.
