With Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66 Equinox and The Fool On The Hill (the lead track is a surprising cover of the Beatles), Look Around is one of the best records of the Brazilian arranger Sergio Mendes and, incidentally, one of its most big success. After a first version of the group who failed to win public favor in 1965, Mendes is a year later the magic of sophisticated elegance made arrangements to Bacharach carried by the rhythms of bossa and samba, so the taste the day - not to mention he just met the wife of trumpeter Herb Alpert (President of the label A & M) who sings in his training. Many pieces will be played here pipes. It is clear that their cocktail party was pretty well stood the test of time.
